S Creek Ranch Females
Our females have come from several
different breeders. My first and the
reason I love the breed is Angel. Angel
was named for the spots on her side but
she has turned into the most loving dog
I have known. She is the best mother to
her pups and to my children. She will
tolerate anything my daughter can do to
her, especially if she thinks there is
some popcorn in it for her. Misty is my
second female and she is a special
young lady. My wonderful friend Karrie
Short of Short's Rat Terriers has trusted
me with her. She is the surrogate mother
to our pups and has really filled out as
she has grown. Dusty is my latest
addition. She comes from Alexis
Gonzalez of Majik Rat Terriers in sunny
California. I have really fallen in love with
this special girl.
A Cowboy's Angel
Angel is a white/chocolate/ tan piebald registered UKC and UKCI. She was born March 2, 2002 to Ginger
and Bailey's 1st Chance (RIP). I purchased Angel when she was just two days old. I saw her picture on the
breeder's website and fell in love with her angel wings. At the time I did not know a lot about rat terriers but
wanted to get my male a companion. She was purchased for my birthday and has been a celebration to
own. She has had three litters so far and I plan to have a couple more with her before she is retired. She is
my foot warmer as she must sleep under the covers with me. She adores my children and is the best dog I
have ever owned. She is a little on the heavy side but that has a lot to do with the fact my daughter shares
her meals with her.

W'Winds Gracious Misty
Misty is a chocolate/ white bi-color NBT. She was born July 18, 2004 to
W'Winds Chocolate Mousse and W'Winds Pearl Jam. Misty is my shadow
whenever she is in the house. I have tripped over her more times than I can
count. She sleeps by my side since the foot position is already taken. Angel
and her have become very good buds and she helps care for the pups when
Angel is not watching. As she matures she has put on a little weight and is a
very solid dog. I plan on breeding her with Echo and Tucker in the next couple
of years. She is always a happy little girl and her whole butt wiggles when she
sees me.

Lacey - RIP
On June 16th, 2007, I had to put Lacey down. She was very old and was not living a good quality life. She
could hardly get around and her eyes/ears no longer worked like they should. She will be terribly missed.
Dogs like her only come around once in a lifetime. I love you baby girl.
Lacey was born in late February 1992. I bought her for my 21st birthday and as a companion to my male
Spike (RIP). Her mother was white (not albino) and her father was black. Lacey's undercoat is white and her
longer hair is black so she looks like an old lady that needs a dye job - no offense. Spike was mean, hated
the color brown, and would not let men within three feet of me. Lacey is the complete opposite.
Lacey is all sweetness and loves everyone and everything. She even tried to nurse the kittens I had when
she first came home. She looks mean and barks a lot when anyone comes up but it is all show. Most people
are still scared of her today although her eyes are bad, her teeth are broken, and she is deaf in one ear
from a recent ruptured ear drum.
Her favorite past time with her buddy Runtz (RIP) was to act hurt when coyotes came near the house while
Runtz hid in the bushes. When the coyote would get close enough she would stand up signaling Runtz to
jump out of her hiding place and they would attack the coyote. If I had not seen this myself I would never
have believed it and it was a very effective way to keep the coyotes away from the house.
She has been my baby for many years and approved of my husband when we went on our first date. Yes, I
had to get my dogs approval before I would become serious with a guy and he was the ONLY one that both
Lacey and Sammy (RIP) approved of so I married him. Her main job today is helping the pups and new
arrivals learn their place in the pack as she is still the reigning alpha dog in my yard. Otherwise she spends
her days lazing around the yard being groomed by Cowboy.
She has had two litters with Spike and after he passed I had her spayed. She has a current and long
standing boyfriend in Cowboy and I truly believe he helps to keep her going. She is very old for a chow and I
know her days are numbered. She has been the most devoted and best friend I have ever had. She has
helped me through some of the darkest days in my life like no human could possibly do. When I leave this
world for whatever lies on the other side I hope she is there waiting for me.
Cowboy grooms Angel daily by
pulling her hair out. We give
her a haircut once a year.
You can see the lighter hair she
has all knotted up. She will not
allow me to brush her anymore so
we just cut it off every summer.
This was the first day I let Echo out in the yard
after he came home to Oklahoma. Cowboy is
telling him to stay away from his girlfriend.

. In the picture on the left
she was helping me grade
papers. She can be found at
my feet every time she is in
the house.
Dusty comes from sunny California. She was bred by Alexis Gonzalez of
Majik Rat Terriers. Her dam is a beautiful pearl lady named Lil' Rascal's
Majik Pixie Dust. Her sire is UKC GRCH Fire Mountain's Jagged Edge
owned by Anita Culp of Rock-E-Hill Rat Terriers. Jag is one awesome
boy and Dusty looks a lot like him. She is the funniest little thing and is too
cute not to love. She has wormed into my husband's heart like no other
dog here. I am so proud to own this little girl and I thank Alexis for the
opportunity of being owned by such a special girl.
Mattie
Mattie is our latest edition to our pack.
She is a Great Dane - merle in color with
the most gorgeous eyes! She is just a
pup - born on Christmas Eve 2006 - and
she does not think of herself as a big dog.
She somehow manages to fit under my
son's bed and in the crates for the ratties.
We have so much fun with her and can't
wait to see how big she will get.
Here Mattie is with
her play buddy
Edwards. He is
from the last litter
born here and is
much bigger than
I want in a rattie
but he makes a
perfect playmate.
Gotta
love
those
ears
